What began as a seemingly minor Life Insurance renewal transaction transitioned into me gaining a trusted friend and financial confidant. Tom Badry of Capital Logic Group and I began our business relationship 19 years ago when I was married and a stay-at-home mom with four young sons. My insurance needs have changed considerably in that I was divorced shortly after renewing my life insurance with Tom. I became self employed for a time when my sons were still school-aged and therefore I required Disability Insurance to ensure our family's financial future. In short I needed to be able to pay the mortgage. Tom was with me every step of the way. After 10 years I became employed with a company which has some disability insurance. I retained the self employment disability policy because it has some additional benefits. Two years ago at 55 years of age my Term Life Insurance Policy needed to be renewed. As always Tom presented me with multiple options and combined solutions. My sons are all grown up and financially independent. With Tom's help I was able to understand the benefits of a life insurance policy which could be used during my retirement years as necessary. In 2015 I was diagnosed with a serious illness and underwent surgery. Tom has been a great support to myself and my family during this time of great stress. I felt no hesitation in forwarding my son's questions about how Long Term Disability was going to work directly to Tom and said 'Ask Tom anything, I trust him completely'. Over the next few months I was dealing with my medical details post surgery. It was a relief when the forms showed up in the mail.... my long term disability claim had already been started. As always Tom was there for me and answered all my questions promptly.
